about
Solstice, June 21, The Germanic god Thor, so it is said, had a loincloth, made of mugwort, called Megingjardr. This belt has given him superhuman powers. But also mortals could have been given this incredible strength and endurance of the herb, when the belt was braided till Solstice, at June 21. Nowadays, unfortunately, nothingleft to know of all this, but a few thousand years ago mugwort was also used as a medicinal plant. Mugwort has a slightly bitter and tart taste. It smells a bit like mint or the juniper.
