The spicy heat of capsaicin is not only noticeable when eating, but also burns on your skin, mucous membranes and especially in the eyes. Never grab in your eyes when cooking or baking, never inhale the powder and strictly keep out of children´s reach. If your mouth burns, take a sip of cold fat milk or yogurt. Water is not recommended, since capsaicin is not soluble in water and would cause more pain.
